Barcelona hosts Napoli at the Camp Nou in a game from the 1/8-finals of Europa League. It’s a really good time to have a look at this fixture in our football predictions for tomorrow.

For Barcelona it’s a new feeling to be part of Europa League, but it is what it is – they finished third in their Champions League group and it was a really disappointing. Barca does not have a time to feel sorry, though – they will try to win Europa League now.

The Catalans reinforced their team in the January transfer window. Most likely Xavi will use the new signing Ferran Torres, Adama Traore and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang against Napoli. The only exception is Dani Alves who was not registered to play in Europa League.

Barcelona are obviously making progress since the arrival of the new head coach Xavi. The club legend made the team better and now his hard work is paying off. We can say that Barca are favorites against Napoli in this one.

Napoli are not a team to be underestimated, though. The Azzurri are fighting for the title in the Serie A and they look vastly improved since the arrival of the manager Luciano Spalletti. The former Inter Milan head coach brought some precious confidence to the players and made them believe in themselves again.

In the group stage Napoli finished second in their group, just behind Russian side Spartak Moscow. Spalletti’s team left Leicester City behind and won three of their matches. Players like Victor Osimhen, Dries Mertens, Hirving Lozano and Piotr Zielinski will be a big danger for Barcelona on Thursday.

That’s the football predictions for tomorrow for the Europa League 1/8-finals game between Barcelona and Napoli at the Camp Nou. Los Cules are favorites to take the lead here, but it won’t be easy for them against one of the strongest Italian teams.
